I met Barbara 10 years ago when I was living in Virginia and wanted to buy a house in RI. I emailed 4 agents and Barbara called me right back. After several weeks of Barbara sending me listings to look at, and talking on the phone to learn about what I was looking for, I made the trip to look at properties in person. We ended up spending an entire day together, at the end of which I made an offer on a house which was accepted. Throughout the process, Barbara offered good advice, steered me away from potential problems, and put my needs first. 2 years later when I needed to find a tenant, Barbara vetted prospects and found a person who stayed in the house for the next 8 years. When it was time to sell the house, it was a no brainer to call Barbara, and I have no doubt that it was her expertise that made the process go so well. She was unflinching in making astute suggestions about work that needed to be done to get the house ready to sell, and her knowledge of local contractors, painters, plumbers, etc was essential, particularly since I was out of state and couldn't supervise the work. Barbara's suggestion that I stage the house was dead on. Barbara's knowledge of the market, wisdom, patience, and sense of humor enabled me to negotiate my way through what could have really been a difficult process. Whether a buyer or a seller, if you are lucky enough to work with Barbara, you will have a great experience! I could not possibly recommend her more highly.

Initially we made contact with Barbara through a friend who had bought a condo in Warren and Barbara actually was the owner's agent. Our friends relied on Barbara more than their own agent to make the sale happen. We were interested in Bristol to Barrington at first and the more we looked, Barbara encouraged us to look on Aquidneck Island, in Portsmouth. She was mindful of our needs (good commute to Boston) and our interest in space,. proximity to water, and lay out. We never thought we would buy a condo and the one she steered us to really is not condo in feeling at all and on first sight, we knew we had found the right place.
